Safety Officer Seminar Information
Certified Safety Officer Seminars are required for IDPA Match Directors and persons wishing to work the National Championships. They are also considered to be a solid choice for those interested in working Sanctioned Matches. Shooters who wish to learn more about the sport or who want to work at the local level will also benefit from CSO seminar training.
CSO Seminars can be held at your location or one of the instructors choosing. We have traveled as far as Western Pennsylvania, Upstate New York, and New Jersey.
We ask for a minimum of 6 students for a seminar. Fees for a SO seminar start at $20.00 per student.
Students need not be IDPA members at the time of the seminar, but IDPA will not send out any credentials to any non-member.
Classes are all day, and require a classroom, small range, several target stands, and a few other props. The instructors will bring all other materials and equipment required for this class.
